  1. The Priest (Rajesh ji) will be seated facing North, as it is considered the direction of divine knowledge and auspiciousness.

  2. The Devotee or Family Members will be seated facing East, symbolizing devotion, purity, and the rising of spiritual light.

  3. This setup creates a harmonious energy flow and maintains the sanctity of the ritual space.

General Pūjā Pre-Guidelines for Devotees

To help ensure a smooth and spiritually fulfilling experience, we request all devotees to kindly follow these guidelines before the commencement of the pūjā.

Maintain a Clean and Peaceful Environment

Please keep your home and the designated pūjā area clean, calm, and free from any disturbances. This creates a sacred atmosphere for the ritual.

Prepare Yourself and Your Family

All participants are encouraged to take a bath and wear clean, traditional attire.

Be Ready Before the Scheduled Time

We humbly request devotees to be seated and ready at least 15–20 minutes prior to the start time. This helps the ceremony begin promptly and flow smoothly.

Devotional Participation

Please sit peacefully, follow the instructions provided during the ritual, and join in chanting if you feel comfortable.

Kindly keep mobile phones on silent to preserve the sanctity of the ceremony.

Guidance for Homa (If Applicable)

If a homa is part of the ritual, the priest will provide guidance upon arrival regarding placement and arrangements. Please ensure the area is safe and compliant with building rules.

About Dakshina

In our tradition, Dakshina represents gratitude — a sacred offering from the devotee’s heart to honor the priest and the divine work performed. It is not a fee, but an expression of seva (service) and shraddha (faith).

At Hindu Heritage Services, we uphold the tradition that all rituals, from the simplest offering to the grandest homam, are performed with equal sanctity. The dakshina differs according to the type and duration of the ceremony.

Dakshina may be offered in person after the ceremony, as a heartfelt token of respect and devotion.

Your dakshina helps support the priest to sustain dharmic activities and continue serving the community with devotion and integrity.
