The Importance of Shasti Vratham
Shashti, a significant day in the Hindu calendar, is dedicated to Lord Muruga, the deity revered for his divine power and blessings. Observing Shashti Vratham on this day is believed to invoke Lord Muruga’s grace, fulfilling genuine desires and dreams. Those who observe this vratam with devotion are blessed by his abundant grace.
The number Six holds special significance in Lord Muruga's symbolism: He has six faces, his primary abodes are six, his mantra, Sa Ra Va Na Bha Va, consists of six syllables, and Shasti itself falls on the sixth day of the lunar cycle.
Worshipping Lord Muruga on this day aligns devotees with his divine energies, ensuring that their prayers are answered.
